That's when he got down on one knee and presented her with a 7.25-carat diamond ring. Tebow reportedly wasn't nervous about proposing at all, but he wanted to make sure Nel-Peters wouldn't "sense his excitement." So he told her he would be surprising his father with a brand new truck and even went so far as to borrow a vehicle from a dealership to cover his tracks. She added, "Therefore each experience I encounter is that much more special." Should Tebow actually sign with the Jaguars, many expect he would take on more of a versatile role than simply playing tight end, given his experience at quarterback and his running abilities. But Tebow was traded to the Jets after that season, and he was never again a regular starting quarterback in the NFL.
